About the Competition

The Heineken USA/Effie Collegiate PSA Challenge gives students a chance to create a comprehensive marketing campaign that addresses real world challenges.

Students will be expected to think and act like professional marketers, by addressing the Marketing Challenge posed by Heineken USA and developing a strategic, creative and effective solution.

Challenge submissions should include research, insight and solid rationale that led to any big idea presented.

Qualifying campaigns will be reviewed and judged by industry professionals representing expertise in various disciplines – creative, strategic planning, media strategy, branding, marketing, digital, etc.

Effective marketing connects brands with their target audience in a way that makes an impact, strikes a connection, inspires action, and makes a difference.

If a student can create a marketing campaign that achieves the holy grail of delivering results for the client, it shows they have the clear insight needed for developing Ideas that Work in the marketplace. For those who achieve this, Heineken USA may use portions of your idea and/or campaign in market.
