Forbes Conference Group
Kendall Crolius was named Vice President and General Manager of Forbes Conference Group in May 2005. Kendall joined Forbes in 2000 as Vice President of Marketing, responsible for all brand marketing efforts for Forbes Magazine Group around the world. Before joining Forbes, Kendall was Group Managing Director at McCann-Erickson New York, where she led the team that launched Agilent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard’s $8 billion spin-off, in 25 countries. She also headed the US Airways account, leading the expansion of that brand in the U.S. and Europe. Kendall spent fourteen years at JWT, where she was Global Director of Strategic Planning on Kellogg’s; a front-line combatant in Burger King’s historic Burger Wars of the mid-eighties; launched Pepsi Slice; and ran JWT’s Professional Development Program.
Kendall’s book Knitting With Dog Hair was published in 1994. The book continues to sell steadily, and is recommended on a variety of websites related to crafts, pets and survival after the apocalypse. Kendall holds a degree in English from Princeton University. She lives in Southport, CT with her husband, actor/director Stephen Stout, and their teenagers Trevor and Martha.
Kendall is proud of the Effies she won in the agency business and has enjoyed being an Effie judge for the past several years.
