Prior to joining Universal McCann, Matt Seiler was President and CEO of PHD and the voice of PHD: literally and figuratively! Seiler has been an account guy, a strategic planning person, agency leader, and integration ombudsman. ‘Not really sure where this all leads,?’ says Seiler, ‘but it sure has been one heck of a ride!?’ Matt joined PHD in the fall of 2004, certain that the world of marketing communication was profoundly changing, and that media in general, and PHD in specific were at the forefront of those changes. He was most recently Executive Vice President, Director of Insight and Integration at Omnicom Group, Inc. where he led integration efforts, most notably the oversight of Omnicom operating companies working on the PepsiCo business. His advertising agency experience includes account management, strategic planning and general agency management. Prior to joining Omnicom in 2001, Matt served as Director of Strategic Planning at BBDO New York, where he provided strategic input and leadership for all of the agency’s brands. He also ran the global Frito-Lay business. He left to join Wieden & Kennedy as Managing Director of its New York office. Before joining BBDO, Seiler worked as a Senior Account Director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Matt recently received the prestigious accolade of Advertising Age Media Maven. His journeys outside the office include partnership with wife Russlyn and their three young daughters.
