2010 Global Effie Competition:

The 2010 Global Effies entry period is now closed.

Marketing communications that succeed in multiple regions are essential to effective brand building. The Global Effies were created in 2003 to honor communications initiatives that have proven their effectiveness in multiple markets worldwide.

Eligibility for 2010 Competition

  • Entries must be for a single brand idea running across at least four countries in two or more regions worldwide. The five regions are defined as: Africa & the Middle East; Asia Pacific; Europe; Latin America & the Caribbean (includes Mexico); North America (U.S. & Canada).
  • The effort must have run between September 1, 2006 and October 30, 2009 in all countries submitted, and must have run in at least one of the countries between September 1, 2008 and October 30, 2009.
  • Entries that are produced by multiple parties (advertising agencies, media agencies, etc.) can only be submitted for consideration once.

Deadline & Fees

Entries will not be accepted if they are not accompanied with the full, correct entry fee payment.

In order to be processed and entered into the competition, all parts of the entry must be both physically at the Effie Worldwide office and submitted online. Once you submit an entry online, you cannot change it without contacting the Effie office. You will receive an entry confirmation once all entries have been processed.

On-time: December 4, 2009

Last Chance: December 19, 2009 – January 27, 2010

Entry Fee = $1395 USD

Note: Entries received after January 27, 2010 will not be processed and therefore will not be entered into the competition.
