We set out to generate new accounts, protect HSBC's environmental credentials and meet our financial obligations to our shareholders. We exceeded all three of our objectives. More paperless checking accounts were opened, ethical perceptions of the HSBC brand were enhanced and a more valuable customer was acquired, for less. All in all, our campaign delivered no small change to the environment, the brand, and the business.
