Eligibility
Efforts that ran in at least one country in Europe from January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2016 which meet the Positive Change category definition qualify for entry into the 2017 Positive Change - Europe competition.
It is acceptable for work to have started running before January 1, 2016, and for it to continue running after December 31, 2016; however, the work must have run at some point during the defined eligibility period and entrants must present results from that time period. No results after December 31, 2016 may be included. Judges will be scoring the results within the eligible period only.
Region:
Europe is defined as the 47 countries listed by the Council of Europe (http://hub.coe.int/), with the addition of Israel.
This definition is consistent with the Euro Effie competition and the Effie Effectiveness Index.
Deadlines & Fees
The Effies have a tiered deadline structure, with incremental entry fees associated with each later deadline to accommodate accelerated processing times.
Positive Change - Europe Entry Deadlines:
First Deadline: May 15, 2017
Second Deadline: May 18, 2017
Final Deadline: July 31, 2017
Extended Deadline: August 24, 2017
Positive Change - Europe Brands Entry Fees:
First Deadline: 995 Euros
Second Deadline: 1,245 Euros
Final/Extended Deadline: 1,985 Euros
Positive Change - Europe Non-Profit Entry Fees:
Second Deadline: 485 Euros
Final/Extended Deadline: 885 Euros
Insight Guides
Effie entrants have the opportunity to request an Insight Guide at the time entry. Purchasing an Insight Guide allows you the opportunity to receive direct feedback from the judges who evaluated your work. With an Insight Guide, you will also learn the strongest and weakest scoring sections of your entry, based on judging scores.
