For the brand to grow it had to overcome the two main barriers in the category: overwhelming decision process and perception of painting a home as a hassle. Hence, the brand tapped into the insight that walls can be a tool of self-expression through the launch of a colour collection and live experiments that used real people to demonstrate such statement. The brand increased its sales by 44% in volume and 52% in value while growing the category by 11%.
