"My Black is Beautiful" Ambassador Search

African-American women were not shopping Walmart for their beauty needs. So the retailer joined with Pantene, COVERGIRL, and P&Gs My Black is Beautiful online community to help celebrate the inner and outer beauty of this shopper segment. We created an ambassador search and a t-shirt offer that were promoted online and drew women to stores. This culminated in an exciting presence at the annual Essence festival. Our program resulted in a significant sales lift for COVERGIRL and Pantene, helping Walmart outpace the general market. My Black is Beautiful winning results combination with COVERGIRL and Pantene.

Kraft Food Hacks

While still the market leader, well-known, once-loved Kraft products werent getting much love from Millennial Moms. Knowing that we needed to inspire them, and we needed to make it easy, Kraft Food Hacks was born. Inspired by the global trend of hacking, we created a rally-cry for innovative simplicity based around simple 3-step infographic recipes. The campaign was supported through print, digital, out-of-home, and social channels. So far the campaign has generated 13 million impressions to date, and most impressively, a 12% sales increase.

A Healthier You Starts with a Healthier Smile

Our shopper cares about her family's health, but was missing the connection between good oral health and overall health. Satisfied with just a regular paste and brush, she needed education on the benefits of a regimen combining a premium paste with a power brush. Using an innovative kiosk featuring highly relatable shopper video testimonials, leveraged both in-store and on-line, she gained valuable information. Our Twitter party delivered more than double the projected media impressions, landing the program in 700 more Walmart stores than planned and generating significant sales growth.
