Effie Greater China’s UNTHINKABLE Summit | Dr. Paul Yan: Transformation of Digital Retail Intelligence in the Post-Epidemic Era

During his inspiring 30-minute speech, Dr. Yan elaborated on how JD responded to changes with technology, especially concerning the efforts that JD has constantly made to realize the transformation of digital intelligence in the current difficult times.

This year, affected by the coronavirus epidemic, consumption patterns of domestic consumers have leaned towards the online market and community services. Unsurprisingly, the epidemic has also accelerated the development of health-conscious and green consumption.

Dr. Yan pointed out in his sharing that through 15 years of development, JD has gained leading technical advantages and successful experience in the fields of digital marketing, store digitization, intelligent distribution / online trading platform / store digitization and more. JD Marketing 360 integrates cutting-edge technology and marketing methodology, focusing on consumers (people), brands (goods) and platform (field), to boost the digital intelligent marketing process for brands.

In the meantime, JD has developed a 4E marketing methodology on the basis of 4A Theory: Evolve marketing strategies, Execute marketing campaigns, Enhance marketing initiatives and Evaluate marketing effectiveness.
