October is typically a month of diminished guest counts and sales at McDonald’s, so we needed to entice customers. They love Halloween and choice, so we gave them a limited time promotion providing both. “TRICK. TREAT. WIN!” beckoned customers with trick-or-treating and daily chances to win choice prizes. We brought Halloween to McDonald’s with in-store activations, a sweepstakes, and an in-store game that put choice in guests’ hands.
TRICK. TREAT. WIN! increased guest counts, sales, and usage/adoption of the McDonald’s App, resulting in the most successful digital promotion ever!
