July 21, 2025, San Juan, Puerto Rico — The Puerto Rico Advertising Association, in partnership with Effie Worldwide, proudly announces the launch of the Effie Awards Puerto Rico, marking the first time the globally recognized awards for marketing effectiveness will be held on the island.
This landmark initiative replaces the former “Cúspide Strategy and Effectiveness” categories that were part of the Cúspide National Festival until its 2023 edition. With this new chapter, Puerto Rico becomes part of Effie’s elite global network, joining over 55 programs around the world that set the gold standard for marketing effectiveness.
The Effie Awards Puerto Rico will celebrate the most effective ideas that deliver real results, providing local agencies, marketers, and brands with the opportunity to compete on a globally respected platform. Entries will be judged by a jury of experienced leaders in marketing, communications, and business, applying the same rigorous standards seen in all Effie programs worldwide.
