Effie is celebrating its 50th Anniversary as the leading authority on marketing effectiveness.
Kicking off the celebration is the launch of 5 For 50. This special award will recognize the five most consistently effective brands over the past 50 years who have made Effie history, remained relevant and continued to sustain business over time and into the future.
Brands that have won more than one Effie Award over more than one year are eligible to enter.

Call for Entry is now open for the 2019 Effie Awards UK competition. Entry deadlines run 15 February through 5 April.
This year’s competition offers a variety of new categories including Shopper Marketing, Healthcare, Branded Content, and Commonwealth Games Marketing.

Effie United States and Subaru of America have announced their partnership to present the 2019 Effie Collegiate U.S. challenge.
The challenge will ask college students to reinvent the experience of buying a car to meet the expectations of Millennials and Gen Z.
Following the results-driven Effie Awards model, students will create an integrated marketing plan to effectively reach their audience. Entries will be judged by a jury of marketing industry professionals, with finalists presenting to the Subaru brand team.
Call for entries will open January 2019.

The 10th anniversary of the MENA Effie Awards took place on November 7 at the Armani Downtown in Dubai, bringing together agencies and clients from the regional industry to celebrate the best marketing campaigns.
This year saw a ten percent increase in entries resulting in a total of 28 Gold, 45 Silver and 18 Bronze Effies awarded.
