Effie is celebrating its 50th Anniversary as the leading authority on marketing effectiveness.
As part of the celebration, the 5 For 50 Award will recognize the five most consistently effective brands over the past 50 years who have made Effie history, remained relevant and continued to sustain business over time and into the future. Brands that have won more than one Effie Award over more than one year are eligible to win.

Effie Worldwide announces the launch of Effie Academy, a rigorous training experience that will equip marketing professionals early in their careers (3-7 years' experience) with foundational knowledge and tools rooted in Effie’s method of evaluating marketing effectiveness.
The program includes a 4-day in-person Co-Lab,
1:1 mentorship from industry leaders, and an independent case study project.

The 2019 Effie Collegiate U.S. challenge is presented by Subaru of America and Effie United States.
The challenge asked college students to reinvent the experience of buying a car to meet the expectations of Millennials and Gen Z. Following the results-driven Effie Awards model, students were asked to create an integrated marketing plan to effectively reach their audience.
Entries will be judged by a jury of marketing industry professionals, with finalists presenting to the Subaru brand team.
