About the Effie Awards - Awarding ideas that work.
 
The Effie Awards are known by advertisers and agencies globally as the pre-eminent award in the industry, and recognize any and all forms of marketing  that contribute to a brand's success.  For over 50 years, winning an Effie has become a global symbol of achievement. Today, Effie celebrates effectiveness worldwide with over 50 programs, including the Global Effies, regional programs in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East / North Africa and Latin America, and national Effie programs.
 
The Effie Awards were launched in 1968 by the New York American Marketing Association as an awards program to honor the most effective advertising efforts.  The awards now honor all forms of effective marketing  and the companies and individuals creating effective work across the globe.  In July 2008, the New York AMA assigned its rights in the Effie brand over to a separate non-profit organization, Effie Worldwide, to continue to enhance Effie’s mission and educational offerings.

Effie’s Case Studies area features finalist and winning cases from the Effie Awards programs worldwide, including case summaries, videos of the winning work and hundreds of written case studies on effective marketing strategies, ideas and results.  The purpose of the case database is to educate about effective marketing and to showcase the companies and individuals creating effective work to enhance learning in our industry.  

All users can search the site for relevant example cases and to learn more about the companies creating effective work – publicly available information includes recognition of the companies and individuals who created the effective work, a summary of each campaign and creative examples.  

Subscribers have access to full written cases, for entrants that gave permission to publish.

Effie Insights include interviews and commentary from the marketing communications industry’s luminaries, reports featuring aggregate learning based on data from the award competitions, opinion pieces, judge dialogue and surveys, tips on how to present an effective case.
